The Talys Coordinator system
allows teachers and staff to enter requests for help with technology problems or other
requests directly to the system on the internet, getting the information quickly to help desk and maintenance staff. As work progresses, technicians enter status information, which can then be viewed by the requester, eliminating additional phone calls.
The Talys Alumni system allows
former students to enter information about themselves into a database by
graduation year. A bulletin board feature allows the posting of activity notices, searches for former class members, and other information.
The Talys Sub substitute calling
application maintains a database of teachers and substitutes with teaching qualification
information for each sub. Subs are assigned and the information is made available to the teachers school.
